Franco Carletti nasce nel 1954 a Gaiole in Chianti. Risiede a Siena, laureato in Giurisprudenza, vive tra le colline del Chianti ed il mare di Castiglione della Pescaia da dove trae ispirazione per molti dei suoi soggetti. Sin da piccolo, esprime il proprio senso artistico dilettandosi segretamente a dare forma e colori alla quotidianità che coglie con intuizioni semplici e delicate, soffuse e pacate. Oggi mostra i suoi lavori, dove gioca con gessi, stucchi, cristalli e metalli che gli permettono di sviluppare forme espressive legate da una continuità emotiva, reale e sognatrice, profonda e sublime.

Franco Carletti was born in Gaiole in Chianti in 1954 and now, lawyer and painter for passion, he lives in Siena between the sweet hills of Chianti and the sea of Castiglione della Pescaia, sources of inspiration for most of his paintings. Since he was a child, he has had a deep artistic creativity that he has developed in a reserved way, giving shapes and colours to everyday life with a soft, refined and sensitive insight. He loves playing with chalks, stucco, crystals and metals that allow him to develop meaningful shapes tied by an emotional, real and dreaming, deep continuity.
